There was some debate on Sunday night as at the end of the game an official mistakenly signaled a first down and moved the chains.Chains were moved back after the play,and was converted to fourth down.Madden NFL 24 vice president of officiating Dean Blandino said the crew did not know the correct procedure and should have stopped play to correct the issue.

"In this case,when there is clear confusion about the nature of the down,play must have been stopped prior third down and the correct down should have been communicated to both clubs.This was required regardless of Washington had no timeouts,and it was only two minutes."

Jay Cutler is reportedly targeting the Week 14 start date for his return from the ankle injury he suffered,but his status for next Monday won't be determined until later this week.Bears Head coach Marc Trestman said Cutler remains"week-to-week."
