218eeb4e9f3244 A lot of people are still playing the game that revolutionized not only first-person shooters but gaming in general. Doom 3 is still receiving mods, runs well on modern systems, and provides many hours of entertainment. But for those who cannot find a working disc copy or can't play it anymore because they don't own the game anymore, do not fear! The files to install Doom 3 are stored on Steam and you can download them without having to buy the game again.

Below is an image with instructions about how to find this folder:

The installation instructions are as follows:1. Have Steam and its latest update installed.
2. Have a folder downloaded on your computer where you want to install Doom 3 (such as: Downloads)
3. [Optional] Install the high-rez texture replacements for Doom 3 from the link below. Moddb.com
4. [Optional] If you want, install the Hell mod from this link: Moddb.com
5. [Optional] If you want, install the Fission mod from this link: Moddb.com
6. Download the Doom 3 installer from this link: Steamcommunity. com
7. Open it with WinRAR or WinZIP, go to the directory where you want to install Doom 3 and create a new folder.
8. Copy all the files of the zip to this new folder, click on "Install" and follow the instructions.
9. Once installed, open Steam and go to your game library. You should see that Doom 3 has been added, go ahead and start the game!
10. If you do not see Doom 3 in Steam then something went wrong during installation (this is likely if you don't have enough RAM).
11. If you go to "Library" and click on "Manage games", Doom 3 will not appear because it is installed in the wrong place.
12. To check if the mod worked, go to: \\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\Doom 3 (where Steam and common are your account and profile directories respectively). Now the folder should be called: Doom3.
13. As long as you can see that folder, then everything went right and you will play Doom 3 as normal (but only once, don't do it again).
14. Now you have every Doom 3 process running from Steam. If you wish to disable Steam and still play Doom 3 then:
- Right click on any Doom 3 process and go to properties.
- You will see the "Target" field which is equal to: "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\Doom 3". Change this to: "C:\\Doom 3\\" (or the folder where you installed it)
- You can also rename the process as you like, as long as it has a dot (.) before the actual name; such as: .Doom3.exe, etc...
