Hey everyone, recently EU players have been getting a lot of 900002 (90k) errors on Balmung. I have been using pingzapper and found it has really helped not only with the disconnects, but by making my loading much easier and I thought I should make a guide on how to set it up.
Once chosen click next. It should now ask you to find the location path and for this, we want the ffxivboot.exe as the directory. If you have installed FFXIV by default, it should be at the follow link (you can copy and paste this in)
Just remember to change the directory to whichever drive you have the game installed to. When this is done, click next. It will now ask you to pick a server location. The choice depends on the location of the game server you play on, not where you live. So in this instance, we are going to use US West Coast. Once this is done, you can finish the setup. Now you need to make sure the FFXIV icon is set to on in the little window and the big on button at the top is set to on. From now on, you MUST run FFXIV by double clicking it from pingzapper, otherwise pingzapper will not work.

While farming, I also got randomly disconnect and I can't log in anymore. Gepard shield keeps crashing. Now I'm trying to play with pingzapper completely off, but the game is still patching. I can run the game and all, but when I try to log in: this happens.
Update on this: I was able to log in, just had to let it finish patching. Couldn't run the game without patching it fully lol sucks. I'd appreciate any advice about this. Since it wasted an hour of my farming time and wouldn't want it to happen again. Thanks!
Yes But, it doesn't patch without pingzapper. I'm fully patched and been playing the game just fine. It just patches all over again with files from back in 2012 if I try to run the game with pingzapper, and then gepard shield crashes the game after I fully patched and then try to log in.
are allowed to use : [Bugs in BG - Bugs outside BG - Bugs in Tournament] (They consider that now like if it was "ABB" They are also allowed to use WTFast and PingZapper outside BG and everywhere. (some servers are just allowed to use WTFast like in BG or outside BG but NOT in tournament)
Do you think about people who do not necessarily have a good ping and who can not have a good experience on 4Story? Having 80-90 of ping and playing against players from another country who has 15-20 (thanks to the programs used) is not good at all and often that's why the official loses his players.
We're in 2019 and the servers are not as full as before. Do you really think that it is by continuing to ban the players who "break the rules" that it will arrange things? If the players continue to break them is mainly because they are tired of having a bad ping, it is no longer possible to play.
At least allow players who (do not necessarily have a good ping) or users of Windows 10 to use software such as WTFast and PingZapper outside the TOURNAMENTS. I say that because that's why the 80% of players are banned. Make the right rules for everyone or do not put any, allow all countries to do the same thing, are we garbage or what? This is the impression I have seeing the banns on some servers.
Using a ping program isn't cheating at all, it is just to put your ping down to have easier to dodge & have a smoother gameplay. I'll use another example, "Razer Cortex" even if it does not work correctly, why if I would use this program to make my game performance better, why wouldn't I get ban for this but I would get ban for using a ping program? That make no sense? I still have a benefit that others do not have?
+1, I'm greek player and i dont see any point playing bg 2k19 every1 bugs but if i bug too i will get banned because on my server its not leg
